Mrs. Christina Sondej proudly adheres to the highest standards of education and caregiving. She has been an Early Childhood Educator for almost 30 years. Her curriculum was featured at the 2019 National Catholic Educational Association Conference in Chicago and was presented in Denver. It has also been used at Loyola University by the co-director of the Greeley Center for Catholic Education to show how to maximize instruction with intentional curriculum. She is currently on the Diocese of Joliet Early Childhood Standards Committee.
At St. Mary of Gostyn, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe and loved. Our unique classroom offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, children reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease.
Mrs. Sondej is excited to be welcomed to the SMG family after teaching at St. Dominic, Bolingbrook for 20 years. St. Dominic closed in 2022 and she will always love her St. Dominic family and is grateful for her time there. SMG is an amazing school with an incredible community and Mrs. Sondej is so glad that she found a new "home".
